Hershey, Radisson Lay Down Swords In Trademark Fight

Law360, New York (October 19, 2011, 9:33 PM EDT) -- The Hershey Co. and Radisson Hotels International Inc. have settled a trademark suit in which Hershey sought to block Radisson from using the Hershey name on one of its hotels near the chocolate company's amusement park, the companies said Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Sylvia H. Rambo dismissed the case without prejudice, allowing the suit to be reinstated on good cause after 60 days if the settlement isn't consummated.

Terms of the settlement were not immediately disclosed. Representatives for the companies couldn't immediately be reached for comment Wednesday.
