Utility Should Repay €1B In French Aid: EU Court Adviser

Law360, New York (October 20, 2011, 9:11 PM EDT) -- An adviser to the European Union's highest court on Thursday agreed with a European Commission decision ordering a French state-owned electric utility to repay €1.2 billion ($1.7 billion) in allegedly unlawful state aid, coming down against a European General Court ruling.
