Japanese Auto Supply Execs Cop To Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (October 24, 2011, 7:31 PM EDT) -- Two Japanese executives of automotive wire harness supplier Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. pled guilty Monday in Michigan federal court to participating in a price-fixing and bid-rigging conspiracy that lasted nearly a decade.

Junichi Funo and Hirotsugu Nagata lodged guilty pleas Monday to one-count felony charges brought by the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, alleging they were involved in a plot to rig bids for automotive wire harness and related products sold to customers abroad.
