1st Circ. Revives Fraudster Builder’s Puerto Rico Suit

Law360, New York (October 26, 2011, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Tuesday partially revived a suit accusing Puerto Rican highway and building authorities of breaking contracts by retroactively penalizing a construction company that had pled guilty to fraud, saying that a lower court should not have refused jurisdiction over local law claims.
