Obama Campaign Brings In Ex-Bryan Cave Lobbyist

Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 2:19 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama's re-election campaign has hired a former Bryan Cave LLP lobbyist who pushed TransCanada Corp.'s controversial Keystone XL pipeline and Comcast Corp.'s merger with NBC Universal Inc., the campaign announced Monday.

Broderick Johnson, who will serve as a senior adviser for the campaign, led Bryan Cave's public policy and governmental affairs group and sat on the firm's executive committee until earlier this year.

Before he was named partner in 2009, he was the chairman of Bryan Cave Strategies LLC, the firm's public policy subsidiary....
