Firm Added Itself To Patent Suit To Change Venue: USPTO

Law360, New York (October 27, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- The law firm representing South Korean semiconductor maker Dongbu Hitek Co. Ltd. in a challenge to a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office patent application review improperly named itself as a plaintiff to influence the suit's venue, the USPTO told a California federal court Wednesday.
