CFTC Chair Resigns To Join State Department

Law360, New York (June 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After two years of service as chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Reuben Jeffery III resigned Wednesday to take a position at the U.S. Department of State, ceding his post at the CFTC to current Commissioner Walter Lukken, who was named acting chair.
