US Puts Hefty Duties On Steel Wheels From China

Law360, New York (October 27, 2011, 5:59 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has set preliminary anti-dumping duties as high as 193.54 percent on certain steel wheels from China, the agency said Thursday.

Commerce said it preliminarily determined that the dumping margins for the Chinese-made wheels, which are used with tubed and tubeless tires, were between 110.58 and 193.54.

Chinese companies Shanghai Yata Industry Co. Ltd. and Zhejiang Jingu Co. Ltd. received a preliminary dumping rate of 141.38 percent, and Jining Centurion Wheels Manufacturing Co. Ltd. received a preliminary rate of 110.58 percent, Commerce...
