Axed Lawyer Pushes Her Way Into FedEx Fee Spat

Law360, New York (June 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A fired plaintiffs’ attorney that worked on employment discrimination cases brought against Federal Express Corp. has objected to the delivery company’s bid to file its motion for sanctions against another plaintiffs’ attorney under seal.

Attorney Kay McKenzie Parker on Tuesday opposed FedEx’s efforts to seal her off from its request to the special master in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to penalize Waukeen Q. McCoy over his attorneys' fee requests after he prevailed in three employment discrimination cases against FedEx....
