Judge Knocks Attys’ Forecast For $3B GM Claims Hearing

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 6:52 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge declined Friday to set a hearing date for a dispute over nearly $2.7 billion in claims by hedge funds and others in the bankruptcy of the former General Motors Corp., saying attorneys for both sides were "smoking dope" if they thought the hearing would only last four days.
