Liberty Mutual, Others Settle Over Trump Hotel Collapse

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 6:00 PM EDT) -- Construction management firm Bovis Lend Lease LMB Inc. on Friday settled a suit seeking more than $10 million from Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and other insurers for costs resulting from a deadly collapse at the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York.

Bovis filed suit against the insurers in December 2009, seeking coverage of millions of dollars in bills that it racked up after a portion of the 42nd floor of the hotel collapsed in January 2008 during construction. According to a news report at the time,...
