Former Electrical Engineer Joins McDermott IP Group

Law360, New York (June 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- McDermott Will & Emery LLP has baited an electrical engineer-turned-intellectual property attorney, who started this week in the firm's New York City branch.

Michael Shanahan on Monday became a partner in the firm's intellectual property, media & technology department from Brown, Rudnick, Berlack, Israels LLP.

Shanahan's practice touches a range of IP law areas, from litigation to patent procurement, to licensing, to counseling for clients looking to invest in technology companies.
