CDW Shareholders Challenge $7.3B Buyout

Law360, New York (June 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Shareholders of CDW Corp. have challenged the $7.3 billion acquisition of the technology company by private equity investment firm Madison Dearborn Partners LLC, calling the price “grossly unfair and inadequate.”

John C. Brogan, the trustee of seven shareholder trusts, filed a purported class action suit on Tuesday in an Illinois federal court against CDW and its directors for allegedly breaching their fiduciary duties to the company's public shareholders.
