High Court Won't Revive FCA Case Against IT Contractor

Law360, Washington (October 31, 2011, 6:59 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to review a case in which defense contractor IIF Data Solutions escaped a former employer's whistleblower claims that it overcharged the federal government on a contract for information technology services.

IIF provided the government, including the National Guard, with IT workers under a so-called multiple award schedule type of contract, which allows contractors to have their goods or services listed in a government-approved catalog so that agencies can buy from them without going through a lengthy procurement process each time....
