Plaintiffs Try To Put Brakes On Urethane MDL

Law360, New York (June 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of plaintiffs is seeking to halt proceedings against Chemtura Corp. in the long-running antitrust litigation over urethane, revealing that a settlement is in the works that could put to rest some of the claims of wrongdoing.

On Wednesday, the so-called polyester polyl plaintiffs filed a joint motion with Chemtura in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, seeking to dismiss all allegations of anti-competitive conduct against the defendant.
