DOJ Wants In On FCA, Kickback Suit Against Hospital

Law360, New York (November 1, 2011, 9:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday asked a Pennsylvania federal court for permission to intervene in a False Claims Act suit accusing hospital operator Bradford Regional Medical Center, V&S Medical Associates LLC and two doctors of engaging in a kickback scheme to pay doctors for patient referrals.
