EU Probes Russian, Turkish Pipe Fitting Imports

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 1:28 PM EDT) -- The European Union has launched an anti-dumping investigation into imports of tube and pipe fittings from Russia and Turkey, prompted by a complaint filed on behalf of European manufacturers of the products, the bloc revealed Tuesday.

In a notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the European Commission said the products under investigation were tube and pipe fittings made of iron or steel, with a maximum external diameter of 609.6 millimeters, of a kind used for butt-welding.
