Hines Unloads Walmart-Anchored Retail Center In Mexico

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- Real estate firm Hines has sold a retail center anchored by a Walmart Supercenter in Hermosillo, Mexico, to real estate investment firm MexFund SAPI, Hines said Wednesday.

Hines sold the open-air shopping center City Center Pitic, which is over 90 percent leased and has more than 60 shops, the firm said. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hines is selling the retail center three years after it developed the property on behalf of HCM Holdings LP, a partnership with the California Public Employees' Retirement System, the statement said. The...
