Sedgwick Can't Get Ex-Judge's Race Bias Suit Trimmed

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 8:38 PM EDT) -- Sedgwick LLP lost a bid Wednesday to pare down a race discrimination suit brought against the firm and three partners by a black former Sedgwick lawyer and ex-municipal court judge who was reprimanded by the New Jersey Supreme Court over an affair with a bailiff.

U.S. District Judge Esther Salas denied a motion to dismiss that would have knocked out one of the three counts in Wilson Campbell's February complaint and dismissed the complaint in its entirety as to Sedgwick Chairman Michael Tanenbaum.
