Oven Manufacturer, Supplier Fixed Prices, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 3, 2011, 4:38 PM EDT) -- Restaurant equipment distributor Chain Link Services LP on Wednesday lodged an antitrust suit in Texas federal court, claiming rival CS Food Service Holdings LP and baking equipment manufacturer Doyon Baking Equipment Inc. conspired to muscle Chain Link out of the food service supply market.

Chain Link claimed defendants—Doyan, its parent company Middleby Corp., Middleby's subsidiaries and CS Food, doing business as Concept Services—conspired to fix the price and supply of ovens, in violation of the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act and Texas antitrust laws.
