Ex-Worker Sues Bain Capital Over Samsonite Factory Deal

Law360, New York (November 4, 2011, 4:24 PM EDT) -- A French woman who lost her job when Bain Capital LLC sold a Samsonite luggage factory lodged a putative class action against the private equity firm Friday, alleging unethical transactions that flouted French labor law and resulted in the factory being sold for €1 to a Luxembourgian businessman.
