CIT Blocks Lift Of S. Korean Sawblade Duty Order

Law360, New York (November 4, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Court of International Trade judge on Thursday barred the U.S. Department of Commerce from lifting an anti-dumping duty order on South Korean diamond sawblades, which was planned because of an adverse World Trade Organization ruling over zeroing.

Judge R. Kenton Musgrave granted a motion by the Diamond Sawblades Manufacturers' Coalition, a domestic trade group, for an injunction that would prevent Commerce from lifting the duty order.

He ruled that revoking the order would prevent the coalition from pursuing its claims in its underlying suit...
