Intel Says Intelogix's Similar Name Infringes Trademark

Law360, New York (November 7, 2011, 12:25 PM EST) -- Intel Corp. filed a trademark suit against software company Intelogix Corp. on Friday in California federal court, alleging that the company's name is confusingly similar to Intel's and is likely to mislead consumers.

Intel claims that it was unable to amicably resolve the issue with Intelogix, which makes software for the food service industry, leaving the company with no choice but to sue.
