Hines Drops $160M For Boston-Area Office Park

Law360, New York (November 8, 2011, 4:49 PM EST) -- International real estate firm Hines has acquired an office complex near Boston from affiliates of investment manager Eaton Vance Corp. in a deal valued at roughly $160 million, it said Monday.

Hines purchased the Campus at Marlborough, a four-building office park, through Hines Global Real Estate Investment Trust Inc., paying affiliates of funds under Eaton Vance’s Belrose Capital arm $103 million and assuming $57.9 million of mortgage debt, according to a quarterly filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in August.
