Boston Developer Admits To Illegal Campaign Donations

Law360, New York (November 8, 2011, 6:36 PM EST) -- Arthur Winn, founder of the prominent Boston real estate development firm WinnCompanies, pled guilty Tuesday to reimbursing friends and family for $4,500 in campaign contributions made to Massachusetts politicians in order to garner support for development projects.

Winn faces up to six months in prison and a fine of up to $5,000 after admitting to two misdemeanor counts of making campaign contributions in the name of another as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.
