Apple, AT&T Hit With New SmartPhone Patent Suit

Law360, San Diego (November 10, 2011, 8:41 PM EST) -- SmartPhone Technologies Inc. on Wednesday targeted Apple Inc. and AT&T Inc. in a suit in Texas federal court alleging features on the iPad, iPhone and other Apple devices infringe six of its patents.

The Frisco, Texas-based plaintiff asserts that Apple’s iPhones, iPads, iCloud, iTunes, MacBooks and Apple Sync Services violate its patents, and that AT&T infringes the intellectual property by selling the devices.
