Memorex Defends Its Discovery In SanDisk Patent Suit

Law360, New York (July 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Asserting that it had sped up the discovery process in an ongoing patent case over flash memory chips, Memorex Products Inc. on Monday defended itself against accusations by SanDisk Corp. and called the rival chip maker's claims both “incorrect and misleading.”

SanDisk had contended on June 19 that Memorex, and fellow defendant Pretec Electronics, failed to provide expedited discovery leading up to a June 25 settlement conference, despite repeated letters from SanDisk reminding them.
