6th Circ. Nixes Health Discount Deceptive Ads Action

Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 5:13 PM EST) -- The Sixth Circuit on Thursday upheld a lower court's dismissal of a putative nationwide class action claiming two companies used deceptive advertising to sell a worthless health care discount program, finding the court correctly denied class certification because the claims were governed by consumer protection laws of several states.
