Home Care Workers' Overtime Battle Takes New Tack

Law360 (July 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of home care workers in Georgia has sued for unpaid wages and overtime, alleging their boss banned them from claiming compensation for travel time between jobs while treating them as otherwise eligible for overtime.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, accuses Professional Register Nursing Pool Inc., which does business as CareMaster Medical Services, of shirking its responsibilities under national employment laws.
