Commerce Upholds 20-Year-Old Norwegian Salmon Tariffs

Law360, New York (November 14, 2011, 5:52 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce determined Monday that anti-dumping duties against Norwegian salmon exporters must continue in order to prevent the companies from dumping their product in the U.S. market.

Commerce’s International Trade Administration announced in the Federal Register that it would be maintaining tariffs against Norwegian producers of fresh and chilled salmon after the agency concluded its sunset review of the anti-dumping order.
