SRI, Symantec Strike Deal In Network Intrusion IP Suit

Law360, San Diego (November 16, 2011, 7:53 PM EST) -- SRI International Inc. on Wednesday resolved its long-running suit in Delaware federal court alleging that Symantec Corp. infringed patents for network intrusion technology.

U.S. District Judge Sue Robinson approved the parties’ stipulation to dismiss the claims against each other with prejudice and closed the case after they reached a settlement earlier this month. The companies agreed to take care of their own attorneys’ fees and costs.

Attorneys representing the parties were not immediately available for comment Wednesday.
