GAO Bid Protests Grow For 5th Consecutive Year

Law360, New York (November 16, 2011, 8:55 PM EST) -- Bid protests filed with the U.S. Government Accountability Office have increased for the fifth year in a row, according to the agency's fiscal year 2011 report to Congress released Tuesday.

Though it is the smallest increase in the past five years, the number of protests jumped 2 percent from 2,299 in FY 2010 to 2,353 in FY 2011.
