ITC Backs Duties On Steel Pipe From S. Korea, Taiwan

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 3:51 PM EST) -- Revoking existing anti-dumping duty orders on welded stainless steel pipe from South Korea and Taiwan would likely have a detrimental effect on U.S. industry, the U.S. International Trade Commission said Thursday in a final determination.

All six commissioners backed the finding in the expedited five-year sunset review of the current anti-dumping duties, which when combined with a similar ruling from the U.S. Department of Commerce earlier this month, will renew existing duties on South Korean and Taiwanese imports of welded ASTM A-312 stainless steel pipe....
