Pa. University Breaks Ground On $200M Dorm Project

Law360, New York (November 18, 2011, 4:22 PM EST) -- Shippensburg University, a Pennsylvania state-run school, and student housing developer Campus Apartments LLC have broken ground on a heavily financed $200 million project to upgrade its dorms by 2015, the university announced Friday.

The project's first phase, financed entirely by a $70 million bond offering, will build three residence halls to house 924 students, according to the university. One of the buildings will include a 13,000-square-foot wellness center and another will house the university's academic honors program.
