AT&T Says DOJ Shouldn't Share FCC Data In Merger Suit

Law360, New York (November 18, 2011, 10:18 PM EST) -- AT&T Inc. on Friday blasted the U.S. Department of Justice's attempt to share Federal Communications Commission data with outside lawyers to bolster the government's antitrust challenge to AT&T's proposed $39 billion acquisition of rival T-Mobile USA Inc.

On Wednesday, prosecutors asked leave to show AT&T and T-Mobile's models and other materials submitted to the FCC as part of that agency's review of the proposed merger.
