Indicted CDR Exec Can't Ditch Law Firm's Fee Suit

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 5:54 PM EST) -- A Rubin/Chambers Dunhill Insurance Services Inc. executive charged with bid-rigging and market manipulation on Friday lost his bid to have his former defense attorneys' lawsuit seeking fees dismissed while the fee dispute makes its way through mediation.

Hoguet Newman Regal & Kenney LLP, which represented CDR President David Rubin in his criminal case until April, when he engaged new counsel, sued Rubin in New York federal court in August, seeking $262,840 in allegedly unpaid legal fees.
