Ex-E&Y Manager Settles Trading Suit Over Activision Deal

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 1:36 PM EST) -- A former Ernst & Young LLP manager accused of buying Activision Inc. securities before the video game company's merger with Vivendi SA has settled insider trading allegations leveled by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the agency said Friday.

Los Angeles resident Mark A. Konyndyk performed due diligence work for E&Y client Vivendi in 2007 as part of its confidential merger talks with Activision, and personally purchased Activision securities both before and shortly after his resignation from the accounting and professional services giant, the SEC said...
