Calif. High Court Advises 9th Circ. On Implied Contracts

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 9:14 PM EST) -- The California Supreme Court ruled Monday that an implied contract may bind a California county under state law unless a statute or ordinance bars such an arrangement, handing a possible win to a group of retired county workers in a Ninth Circuit spat over health benefits.
