Estrella Settles $7M Suit Over Adviser's Loan Commission

Law360, New York (November 21, 2011, 7:51 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Monday dismissed a $6.7 million lawsuit brought by a financial advisory firm that claimed oilfield services company Estrella International Energy Services Ltd. reneged on a commission owed for securing a loan from Credit Suisse Group AG after both sides reached a settlement.
