Enviro Trust Says GM Owes $13.5M For Site Cleanup

Law360, New York (November 23, 2011, 2:33 PM EST) -- An environmental trust tasked with cleaning up old General Motors Corp. sites on Monday sought $13.5 million it claims the company owes as part of its Chapter 11 liquidation plan.

The Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response Trust filed a motion in a New York bankruptcy court seeking an order that would force the former GM, the remnants of which are now known as as Motors Liquidation Co., to pay up, asserting that the money was due in March.
