NY Agency's GPS Tracking Of Worker Was Justified: Court

Law360, New York (November 23, 2011, 7:59 PM EST) -- A divided New York state appeals court ruled Wednesday that the state Labor Department justifiably used a GPS device to nab an employee suspected of regularly lying about his whereabouts during work hours — even though the device had tracked him during off-hours.
