$200M In Missing MF Global Client Funds May Be In UK

Law360, New York (November 29, 2011, 12:52 PM EST) -- Investigators on Monday reportedly located at a JPMorgan Chase & Co. U.K. unit about $200 million of an estimated $1.2 billion that vanished from customer accounts at failed broker-dealer MF Global Inc., but it was unclear whether investors could recover the funds.

MF Global transferred the $200 million to the investment giant in the days leading up to its bankruptcy filing, the New York Times reported Monday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
