Tech Rivals Wrangle Over Documents In Patent Case

Law360 (July 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A subsidiary of electronics giant Toshiba Corp. has urged a court to compel a Silicon Valley rival to produce documents in a patent infringement case, arguing the material is central to its defense.

In a brief filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. claimed Juniper Networks Inc. was trying to “constrain the scope of relevant information” in the suit by withholding the documents.
