Construction Co. Seeks Coverage For Building Defect Suit

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 4:00 PM EST) -- PCL Construction Services Inc. sued Admiral Insurance Co. in California federal court Tuesday, claiming the insurer owes it coverage for claims related to its subcontractor’s allegedly faulty work at an office building construction project.

Admiral issued the disputed policy to subcontractor Alonso Painting, with PCL listed as an additional insured, in order to fulfill the terms of a subcontract agreement between the two companies, according to the complaint.
