Bausch & Lomb Snaps Up Argentinian Contacts Co.

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 1:39 PM EST) -- Bausch & Lomb Inc. has purchased Argentinian contact lens and lens care company Waicon for an undisclosed sum, the company said Thursday.

Bausch & Lomb bought all of the shares of Laboratorio Pfoertner Cornealent SACIF, the controlling entity of Waicon, to become the leading seller of contact lenses and lens care products in Argentina, according to the company.
