US Steelmakers Want Chinese Co. Sanctioned In Duty Row

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 8:34 PM EST) -- U.S. steelmakers on Wednesday asked the U.S. Court of International Trade to sanction Jiangsu Changbao Steel Tube Co. Ltd. and its attorney for filing a “frivolous” lawsuit challenging anti-dumping duties placed on oil drilling pipe products.

Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel, TMK IPSCO, United Steelworkers and V&M Star LP filed a motion seeking sanctions against Jiangsu Changbao and its counsel, Richard Preston Ferrin of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, for the costs associated with the litigation.
