Ill. High Court Broadens Noncompete Enforceability

Law360, New York (December 2, 2011, 2:08 PM EST) -- The Illinois Supreme Court ruled Thursday that courts deciding the enforceability of employee noncompetition agreements must weigh all the facts and circumstances of each individual case, nixing the standard that state appeals courts have been applying for three decades.
