High Court Won't Weigh FCA's Scope In Blackstone Case

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 3:22 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to consider a challenge to the scope of the False Claims Act in a former Blackstone Medical Inc. employee's suit accusing the company of paying kickbacks to surgeons to increase the use of its medical devices in spinal surgeries.
