Hospital Can Use Hearsay To Bar Worker’s Threats: Court

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 8:05 PM EST) -- A California appeals court ruled Monday that hearsay evidence could be used to enjoin a former employee of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals from making allegedly violent threats to other co-workers.

The California Court of Appeals for the Fourth District affirmed a lower court’s decision to issue an injunction barring former employee Jeff Wilson from issuing further threats of violence or committing violent acts against hospital employees.
