Eatoni's Antitrust Suit Against RIM Scuttled

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 8:39 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Monday threw out cellphone keyboard maker Eatoni Ergonomics Inc.'s antitrust suit against Research in Motion Corp. over RIM's exit from a development deal between the companies.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley dismissed Eatoni's complaint with prejudice, ruling that the company failed to state a claim against the BlackBerry under the Sherman Act or New York state antitrust law.
